Shannon Longjohn

About Shannon:

I was born and raised in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area, where my parents taught me a good work ethic and a serving attitude to help others. My first major test of serving others came after high school when I enlisted in the Marine Corps. I had always wanted to be a Marine following in the footsteps of my Dad. After many years of great experiences, my time ended with my enlistment and I had new goals in mind. While being a full-time student in college, I was also working full-time for a large national bank, initially as a customer service representative and quickly moving up the ladder. Once I achieved my Bachelor’s Degree in Business, I moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota to work for a mortgage company as a production manager. From there, I received a promotion to be a branch manager for the same lender in Nashville, Tennessee. I later began working at Churchill Mortgage. My experiences with Churchill have been great. It is a company complimenting my values and ethics. When my work day is over, I get to enjoy my time with my wife and kids along with the tasks home ownership and life bring. Though we all lead busy lives, it is important for us to know the proper and true reasons on why we do things that are needed. Spending time with your loved ones growing, helping and being influential with each other is what it is all about.
