What does leadership development look like at Churchill Mortgage?

It starts with our commitment of Doing What’s Right For You. Whether you want to become a branch leader with a team of loan officers, an area manager with multiple branches, or a team leader taking your team production to the next levelwe are here to help you achieve your goals.

Let's work together to create a plan for your success  and bring those plans to life!

To help you achieve your goals, we provide ongoing training and coaching, and will partner with you to help with recruiting, sales management, running a successful business, mentorship, and everything in between.

Michael Brigagliano has spent more than 30 years in mortgage banking, beginning his career in 1994 with Transamerica Financial Services. He learned the business by doing it—origination, servicing, and everything in between. That early, hands-on experience shaped the way he works today: help families understand their options, be honest, and guide them through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

Michael’s career has taken him across the country—Boston, Syracuse, Birmingham, Phoenix, and now Orange County, California, where he has lived for nearly two decades. No matter the location, his focus has stayed the same: build strong teams and create a culture where people feel supported, challenged, and proud of their work. He has always gravitated toward consumer direct lending because it allows him to reach more families and provide clear, dependable guidance at scale.

His background also includes meaningful time in loan servicing, including during the 2008 financial crisis. Working directly with homeowners fighting to keep their homes had a lasting impact on him. It influenced how he leads—responsibly, transparently, and with genuine respect for the people on the other side of every loan. Over the course of his career, Michael has overseen billions of dollars in production and led organizations through both stable and volatile market conditions while staying grounded in values and accountability.

Outside of Churchill Mortgage, Michael serves on the Board of Directors for Frontwave Credit Union, which has a long history of supporting military members and their families throughout Southern California. He also serves on the Frontwave Foundation Board, helping drive community programs and charitable efforts across the region.

Michael is a proud father of four and the son of a Vietnam veteran. Those personal roots shape his approach to leadership—steady, service-minded, and dedicated to helping families build long-term stability and opportunity through homeownership.
