Churchill Mortgage Ranked as a “Top Workplace” for Fourth Consecutive Year by The Tennessean

BRENTWOOD, Tenn., June 20, 2016 – For the fourth consecutive year, national lender Churchill Mortgage is recognized as a “Top Workplace” by The Tennessean. The rankings are based solely on positive employee feedback collected through surveys conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement.

Since last year, Churchill has added more than 130 new employees to support the growing economy and housing market. In fact, the lender is continuing to recruit, particularly in Nashville – an area where home price rose at a faster rate than the rest of the nation, according to the National Association of Realtors, indicating strong demand. Churchill is also committed to diversifying its outreach through the recent addition of Multicultural Market Manager, Leticia Mijes, who will focus efforts to better meet the unique needs of an increasingly diverse homebuyer population in communities across the country.

The national lender also continues to dedicate time to improving the lives of those within its communities, recently participating in Goodwill Week, a week-long event led by Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee at its 28 Career Solutions Centers across the state to provide attendees with education and training opportunities from hundreds of local and national employers. Churchill also held a Homeowners Workshop to educate borrowers and provide insight into the end-to-end home buying process, including budgeting tips for home financing, steps to complete a mortgage application and tips for selecting the right loan program.

Churchill also prides itself on its ongoing commitment to serving the local community through their participation in numerous charitable events. Most recently, Churchill worked alongside Nashville-based The Bridge, a non-profit service for the nearly 11,000 less fortunate and homeless individuals and children in the city. Each year, the lender and its employees participate in dozens of volunteer programs locally and across the nation.

Furthermore, Churchill remains dedicated to providing its employees with significant benefits and the best work experience. The lender has now entered into its third full year of its Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), which allows employees to benefit from the value of annual allocations of stock in the parent company.
