KANSAS CITY, Mo., July 26, 2016 – Churchill Mortgage, a leader in the mortgage industry providing conventional, FHA, VA and USDA residential mortgages across 36 states, announced the relocation of its Missouri branch, now located at 2300 Main St., Ste. 900 in Kansas City.
The Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors (KCRAR) reported that sales prices in June improved for existing and new homes, up 5.9 percent to $180,000 and up 3.0 percent to $342,950, respectively. In addition, KCRAR also reported that for the month of June, closed sales increased 3.1 percent for existing homes and 13.9 percent for new homes. Recognizing the increasing demand and consistent improvements in the local housing market, Churchill selected its new location to accommodate its growth and better serve homebuyers in Kansas City and the surrounding communities.
“Home values and sales in Kansas City have improved tremendously within the past few years,” said Joanna Redden, manager of Churchill Mortgage’s Kansas City branch. “These factors, in addition recent analysis from The Associated Press that found that monthly housing payments have dropped in the past decade, while rents have climbed, give us a great deal of optimism for the local housing market. Our new location best positions us to assist borrowers, equipping them with the tools needed to achieve their dreams of debt-free homeownership.”
Since opening in December 2013, the Kansas City branch has added four mortgage professionals, including Brian Hall, Curtis Heaton and Derek West as home loan specialists and Nancy Wendt as a home loan assistant.
“Since our expansion into Missouri, our Kansas City branch has done a tremendous job supporting local homebuyer demand,” said Mike Hardwick, president of Churchill Mortgage. “As the housing market continues trending positively, I look forward to leveraging Joanna’s leadership and expertise, as well as the talents provided by her team, to help more families become homeowners throughout 2016 and beyond.”
