BRENTWOOD, Tenn., June 25, 2018 – For the sixth consecutive year, Churchill Mortgage has been recognized as a “Top Workplace” by The Tennessean. Companies are judged by positive employee feedback collected through anonymous surveys administered by Energage, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools.
“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”
Churchill Mortgage prides itself on not only helping borrowers create a personalized path to debt-free homeownership and financial freedom, but also on creating a positive, energetic and healthy workplace for employees. To further demonstrate this commitment, the lender implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The program, now in its sixth year, allows employees to benefit from their hard work and success in the form of annual allocations of stock in the parent company, which provides them with a long-term retirement investment. Churchill also provides employees with continuing education courses and resources designed to expand all employees’ knowledge of the industry and equip each with the tools necessary to support any and all borrowers.
“Being part of a company like Churchill Mortgage is a once in a lifetime opportunity,” said Kevin Watson, Middle Tennessee District Manager at Churchill Mortgage. “Helping our borrowers craft a plan to fulfill their long-term financial goals and the true American dream of debt-free homeownership is just one of the many ways we are able to prioritize people over profit, which is always a gateway to success. Churchill Mortgage is the last place I will ever work - I have found my home!”
“Churchill Mortgage is an ideal workplace for any loan officer, underwriter, processor or administrative staff,” said Stephanie Christian, Branch Production Manager for Churchill Mortgage. “Coaching clients on the path to achieving debt-free homeownership and financial freedom is one of the most enjoyable aspects of my work, and being able to do so through Churchill across our entire organization only serves to set us apart from other lenders.”
“Churchill’s recognition as a top workplace for a sixth year is an amazing accomplishment and can be attributed to not only our executive team’s devotion to mentoring and training employees, but also our commitment to borrowers,” said Mike Hardwick, president of Churchill Mortgage. “We are so thankful for our employees’ hard work, fiscal responsibility and dedication to success. Thanks to them, we have grown tremendously as a company and can assist communities nationwide in achieving their home-buying goals.”
